Hydrosprigging is like hydroseeding or hydromulching except living pieces of grass are planted with the mulch slurry instead of seed. Tifway 419 is the most common grass hydrosprigged. This particular hybrid bermudagrass is found on athletic fields and golf course fairways across the southern portion of the United States. Tifway 419 also makes an easy-to-care-for and beautiful home lawn. Seed us not available for this hybrid grass. It must be sodded, spot sodded, or sprigged. This grass spreads by above and below ground runners.
