Do I need the front bearing kit or the rear bearing kit?
The front bearing kit, Part #28221, carries the load at the drive end of the pump. The rear bearing kit, Part #28222, supports the back of the pump shaft. They wear as a pair, so most crews replace both while the pump is already apart rather than pulling it twice.
What is in the hydroseeder pump repair kit?
The pump repair kit, Part #55020, carries the seals and gaskets to rebuild the pump instead of replacing it. A pump that has started leaking or lost pressure is usually a wear problem rather than a failure, and a rebuild puts it back to spec.
What is the fire hydrant kit for?
It is the fill side. Part #27241-25 is 25 feet of hose with the camlocks already fitted, so you can fill from a hydrant. The discharge side uses the 150 foot hard hose, Part #27318.
